½ lb butter, melted
2 cups of sugar
2 eggs (separate 1 egg)
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together butter and sugar. Add 1 whole egg plus 1 egg white. (set aside yolk for later). Combine mixture with flour and baking powder. Next add the almond extract. Mix well. Spread cake in 9x13 pan. Mix the yolk with a little milk and spread over cake. Bake in oven at 350ºF for 30-35 minutes.
