1 Cup Butter
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
4 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and soda, and salt)
Cream butter and sugar until nice and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream and vanilla. Then mix well. Best if dough is chilled overnight.

Roll out into 1/4 -1/2 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
Bake at 375 for 8 minutes.
Frost when cooled with frosting of choice. I use the buttercream frosting on the C and H powdered sugar box.
