8 oz pkg lasagna noodles
1 lg onion
parsley or parsley flakes
1 clove garlic crushed & chopped
1 lb ground beef
1 large can chopped tomato or 3 1/2 cups
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1/2 cup water
2 bay leaves (remove after simmering)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Sauce:
1 small onion
4 T margarine
3 T flour
2 cups milk
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 egg beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Cook noodles - set aside
Brown ground beef, onion and garlic, drain well. Add tomatoes, parsley, tomato paste,water, bay leaves, salt and pepper. Simmer tomato - beef mixture for 45 minutes meanwhile make cheese sauce.

Cheese Sauce
onion, margarine, flour, milk, Parmesan, cheese and beaten egg.

Saute onion in margarine and flour, stir in milk, the beaten egg and Parmesan cheese. Coook on low, heat 10 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat add dash of salt.

Grate about 1/3 lb mozzarella cheese, place small amount of meat mixture on bottom of dish.
Layer:
noodles
Meat Mixture
Cheese sauce
mozzarella
repeat
top with mozzarella
