2 Packages of pitless dates (16-24 ounces.)
½ Cup sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
½ Teaspoon baking soda
1½ Cup water

1½ Cup oatmeal
1½ Cup flour
1 Cup brown sugar
¼ Pound butter

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the first five ingredients together to make the date mixture. Blend so the dates are a small or completely bended into the mixture.

Mix togather the next four ingredients.

Layer the oatmeal mixture, the date mixture, and than top it off with more oatmeal mixture.

Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
