1 stick butter or oleo
1 1/2 c. pecans
2 c. English Walnut meats
1 c. sugar
2 egg whites
salt (pinch)
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter or oleo and pour onto a flat cookie sheet. Beat egg whites until stiff, add sugar, add nuts and coat well. Place nuts separately on sheet. Bake in 350º oven for 30 minutes. Turn nuts with spatula every 10 minutes while baking.
