3 egg yolks or 2 whole eggs, well beaten
1/4 c. sugar
1/8 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
nutmeg or other seasonings

Cook in double boiler until it coats a spoon.

Bonnie's notes: double Mema's recipe. Add 3 whole cloves. Combine in double broiler to over 160 degrees (actually she did 168-170). After removing from heat add: 1/8 t. cinnamon, 2 t. vanilla, 1/2 t. nutmeg per double batch.
