1 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup sifted flour
1 tsp soda
4 cups oats

Filling:
2 pkgs 6 oz chocolate chips
2 T butter
1 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 7 ingredients together, press half of the dough in the bottom of and 9" X 13" greased pan.
Prepare filling and spread over first layer, press the last half of the dough on top. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes.
