1 pound bacon
1 1/2 pound hamburger
1 onion, chopped
salad oil
2 cans pork and beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can Lima beans
1 can garbanzo beans
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup ballpark mustard
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
In a Dutch oven, fry the bacon until rendered. Add onion and cook until translucent. Add crumbled hamburger and brown, adding cooking oil if needed. To the Dutch oven add the cans of beans,slightly drained, and the ketchup, mustard, vinegar and brown sugar. Adjust to achieve balance between sweet and spicy. Place in oven heated to 325 degrees and bake until bubbly.

I have made gallons and gallons of these beans. You can add other kinds of beans for texture and color and can double the ingredients, triple them or even more without changing the flavor of the dish. You can also leave it in the oven for extended periods of time if you are waiting on guests who are busy drinking beer and wine.
