1 lb. (4sticks) melted butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. crushed cornflakes
2 c. regular oats (not quick cooking)
2 c. chopped walnuts
1 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Cream butter and sugars until well blended and fluffy.
2. Add eggs one at a time and vanilla.
3. Stir together the flour, soda, and salt. Add to butter mixture one cup at a time, blending well.
4. In large bowl mix together the cornflakes, oatmeal, walnuts, and chocolate chips.
5. Add dough mixture and mix to combine.
6. Dip with ice cream scoop- place only 6 on a cookie sheet. Flatten slightly and bake at 350º for 14 to 17 minutes until golden and set in middle.

Hint: you can make the cookies smaller but they’re just not the same!
