1 Cup butter
2¼ Cups flour
⅓ Cup sugar
1 Tablespoon water
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
1 One pound bag of walnuts halved
¾ Cup powder sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter and half the flour in a bowl. Using a mixer blend in sugar, water and vanilla. Beat until completely combined. Stir in remaining flour. Shape about two tablespoons of flour mixture around half a walnut. Place on ungreased cookie sheet

Bake in 325º oven for 20 minutes. The bottom of the cookie should be slightly brown.

Remove cool and shake powder sugar over the cookie.
