1 quart milk, scaled
1 cup grape-nuts
3 eggs beaten, slightly
½ cup sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Scald the milk (don’t boil). Take it off the stove and add grape-nuts. Let soak until cool. Add to milk; slightly beaten eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Pour into a casserole dish. Place the dish in a square dish filled with warm water. Bake in a 350º oven for about 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted into pudding.
