1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips or chunks
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, and then stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by spoonful onto baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 9 to 11 minutes.
