Notes: I kept this recipe because it had Chris' handwriting. When we were kids, one of the jobs we rotated through was making a dessert each night. This was a quick recipe and a favourite for our family. You can change it to chocolate by adding 1/4 cup of sifted cocoa powder and increasing the sugar in the batter to 1 cup. Another job we girls had was dishes: We had a washer, dryer and "puter awayer". Many times the ""washer" would get started and the "dryer" was conveniently in the bathroom. We would shout out "WHEN THE PAN'S FULL I'M QUITTING" That usually roused the "dryer"and the job continued!
