- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 LB of butter
- 1/2 cup of water
- 2 1/2 cups slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- 1 1/2 cups pure milk chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Excluding the nuts and chocolate chips, add all ingredients. Boil mixture, stirring constantly until the hard crack stage 295F to 310F. Remove from heat. Stir in slivered almonds. Spread on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle chocolate chips on hot almond roca. When chips melt, spread evenly over the surface then sprinkle with ground almonds and cool. Break into bite sized pieces, serve and enjoy!
