4 oz. unsweetened chocolate baking bar, broken into pieces
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 1/2 cups sugar, divided
4 eggs, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
8 oz. cream cheese
10 oz. package mini Kisses, divided
1/2 cup chopped red and green maraschino cherries
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
few drops red food coloring

Directions:
Microwave chocolate & butter at high for 2-2 1/2 minutes, stirring after each minute, until melted. Beat in 2 cups sugar, 3 eggs, and vanilla until blended. Stir in flour, spread batter in greased 13 x 9 inch pan.
Beat cream cheese, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, and remaining 1 egg; stir in 1 1/4 cups Kisses, cherries, almond extract and red food coloring. Drop by spoonfuls over top of chocolate mixture in pan.
Bake 350º for 35-40 minutes or just until set. Immediately sprinkle remaining remaining kisses over top. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Keep refrigerated.
