4 potatoes - pared, sliced
¼ c. onion
1½ c. ham, diced
3 c. white sauce
pepper

White sauce -
⅓ c. flour
½ Tbs. salt
⅓ c. oleo or butter
3 c. milk

Cook flour, salt and butter (oleo) mixture for about 1 minute. Then add milk and cook until thickens

Directions:
Put pared, sliced potatoes in water to prevent discoloration. Grease inside of 2 - quart casserole dish. Put in layers of potatoes, onion, ham and pepper. Pour on 1/2 of white sauce. Repeat twice, ending with white sauce on top.

Place uncovered in 325º oven for 1 ½-2 hours.
