2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 med red onion, finely chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 sprig marjoram, plus more for garnish
1/2 pound assorted, wild mushrooms, I use a package of mixed fresh mushrooms
1 cup mushroom stock, recipe follows
1 cup heavy cream
to taste salt
to taste freshly, ground red pepper
1 can chicken broth

For Stock :
2 cups chicken stock or broth
1/2 cup mushroom trimmings, stems or mushroom pieces.

To make broth:
Use 1 can of chicken broth , break up some of the mushrooms and simmer in Chicken broth about 1/2 hour.
Heat Olive Oil and cook onions and garlic about 5 minutes, until the onion is clear but not cooked too much. Add Mushrooms and cook just until Mushrooms start to water. Pour in broth and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Add Cream and simmer another 10 minutes.

Pour over unrinsed Pasta and add about 1/2 cup Romano and Stir.
Add more Romano to individual plates if desired.
