1-lb. ground beef
1 cup onion, diced
2 cups celery, diced
⅓ cup red wine
1-15 oz. can tomato sauce
1-14½ oz. can diced tomatoes+liquid
½ tsp. salt(optional)
½ tsp. black pepper
6 cups beef broth
1 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked

Directions:

In 5 quart saucepan on medium heat, crumble ground beef and fry with onion and celery until beef is done. Add wine, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, broth, salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to med-low, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until macaroni is done. Makes 8 servings.
