1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup coconut
German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 stick butter
8 ounces Philly cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Spray a 9" X 13" pan with Pam.
Mix pecans and coconut, arrange in bottom of pan.
Mix German Chocolate cake following directions on the box.
Pour over nuts and coconut.
Melt butter and sour cream in the microwave. Remove and add powdered sugar.
Stir well and pour over cake.
Bake in 350º preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes.

Mom's notes: It works better thus: I find if you pour or dab the sour cream mixture evenly over the cake then using a knife handle swirl and stir it evenly throughout the cake in circles.
My cousin Lynette called this her "funeral cake" because she always took it to funerals.
