2 cup sugar
2 cup flour
2 sticks butter
4 T. cocoa
1 cup water
½ cup buttermilk
1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 t. cinnamon (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Shift (whisk) sugar and flour.
In sauce pan mix butter, cocoa and water, bring to rapid boil.
Pour over dry ingredients and blend well.
Add buttermilk, baking soda, (cinnamon), vanilla and eggs and mix well.
Pour in prepared jelly roll pan.
Bake at 400º in preheated oven for 20 minutes.

6 T. buttermilk
4 T. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
