Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
When we lived in Preston Kansas my dad's cousin, Bill Wright, and a friend, LaVern Burns, came to go phesant hunting. Mom made this cake and LaVern had a fit because he liked it so much. He told Mom she had to give him the recipe for his wife, Mary. He told her she had to meet her because she loved to cook too. Some time later they met and formed a live-long friendship. You will see several recipes of Mary's in this book.
