½ cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
½ cup flour
⅓ cup cocoa powder
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a 8x8 or 9x9 pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, beat together the butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Combine the flour, cocoa and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Mix in the vanilla and stir in the chocolate chips if desired. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are firm. Cool before cutting into squares.
Can double the recipe and use a 9x13.
