cucumbers
onion
salt
fresh sweet cream
vinegar
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Peel and slice cucumbers.
2. Thinly slice onion and seperate into rings.
3. Salt to taste.
4. Add cream or vinegar dressing.
5. For vinegar dressing, mix together ¼ cup vinegar and ¼ cup sugar. Let sit for 45 minutes to an hour for sugar to disolve before adding to the cucumbers.

We were so lucky to have fresh country cream to use in recipes. It was so thick you could almost stand a spoon in it. Now you'll just have to look for the heaviest sweet cream you can find at the super market.
