Ingredients:
Ingredients:
12 oz chocolate morsels, dark or milk
12 oz white morsels
6 candy canes, crushed (I prefere Bob’s Sweet Stripes Candy Canes)

This is the basic recipe, but it can be varied in any way you wish.

For Peanut Butter Bark, substitute:
1/2 cup of creamy Peanut Butter for the candy canes

Directions:
Directions:
Place peppermint candies in a heavy-duty plastic bag. Crush candies using a rolling pin or other heavy object. Save for later.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Microwave chocolate morsels according to instructions on bag, and spread mixture to desired thickness on prepared baking sheet.

Microwave white morsels according to instructions on bag, spread on top of chocolate and sprinkle with candy pieces, pressing lightly.

Freeze, refrigerate or let stand until firm. Break into pieces and store in airtight container at room temperature.

To make Peanut Butter Bark, add 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter to the white chocolate, pour over the chocolate layer and draw a knife through the layers to marbleize.

Variations, add dried cherries, craisins, mini M&Ms, nuts, pretzel pieces .... what ever you like.

Makes a nice addition to a gift basket or tin.
