3 tbsp butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
¾ cup raisins
1 tbsp grated lemon rind
3 cups flour
1 cup milk
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp lemon extract
¼ tsp mace
½ tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, stir in raisins and lemon rind.

Mix and sift dry ingredients.

Combine lemon extract, vanilla and milk.

Alternating dry and liquid ingredients, p add to raisin mixture.

Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.
