1 1/2 teasp cornstarch
1 cup beef broth
1/8 teas dried thyme
1 small bay leaf
2 tbls dry red wine
1/8 teas black peppercorns, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve cornstarch in broth in small sauce pan
bring to boil and cook about 1 min. or until slightly thickened
Stir in thyme and bay leaf.
Reduce heat to medium and cook 5 min. or until reduced to 1/2 cup
Stir in wine and peppercorns. Cook 3 min.
Remove bay leaf and serve over beef
