1 3/4 c Flour
1 1/2 c Brown Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Soda
1 tsp Vanilla
3/4 c Butter or margarine (softened)
3 eggs
1 1/2 c Peeled, finely chopped apples (1 1/2-2 medium apples)
1 c chopped Nuts
1/2 c Raisins if desired

Frosting
1 1/2 c Powdered Sugar
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 c Butter or Margarine (Melted)
1/2 tsp Vanilla
3 to 4 tsp Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat over to 350 º (325 if in glass) Grease 13 x 9" pan lightly spoon into measuring cup, level off, combine first 9 ingredients, beat for 3 min, Stir in apples, nut & raisins. Bake for 30 to 40 min until tooth pick comes out clean. Cool, then blend frosting ingredients until smooth and spread on the cake.
