1/2 c. oil
4 onions, chopped
1 pound hamburger
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. tabasco
2 6 ounce cans tomato paste
1 35-ounce can pureed plum tomatoes
1 cup tomato juice

Cook onions and brown hamburger in same pan. Add all other ingredients stir and simmer.
Serve over pasta.

Submitted by Michelle. I added 2 pounds of hamburger instead of one. he original recipe calls for plum tomatoes, Mom suggested diced but I used pureed (all I had on hand) and the consistency worked well for my family. This is the spaghetti I grew up with and loved!
