1¼ c. long grain rice
1 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 10 oz. can beef consommé
10 oz. water

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a 2 quart pan, brown uncooked rice in a very small amount of oil, stirring almost constantly.
2. When nicely browned, add consommé, water and mushrooms.
3. Simmer over med-low heat until all liquid is absorbed, approximately 20 min.
4. If you wish, add a bit of grated onion, salt and pepper.
