1 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1 cup butter softened
1 16 ounce package dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup toasted pecans
1 cup raisins

Directions:

Combine first seven ingredients. Set aside. In a mixing bowl combine butter and sugar. Beat for one minute.Then add eggs and vanilla, Beat until blended. Add flour mixture and combine. Add the remaining ingredients. Stir in well. Drop dough 1/4 cup on slightly greased cookie sheet, Lightly press dough down. Bake at 350°F for 12 to 14 minutes. When cooked they will not look done. They will firm up as they cool. Do not over bake. Cool on cookie sheet for 3 minutes then remove to wire rack.
