Pudding:
3 cups soft bread crumbs (4 cups for firmer pudding)
2 cups milk, scalded with ¼ cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg
½ cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Place bread in a 1½ qt baking dish.
Blend the rest of the ingredients and pour over.
Place the baking dish in pan of water 1 inch deep. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
Serve with sauce or powdered sugar icing if desired.
