- 1pkg spinach
- 1 pear, sliced (tart is better than ripe)
- ¼ to ½ c. pecans (Melt 2 T sugar with the nuts in a pot to glaze. Let cool.)
- 80 g blue cheese, crumbled (or to taste)

Dressing:
- ¼ c sugar
- ½ t salt
- ½ t dry mustard
- 1/8 c wine vinegar
- ¼ c olive oil
- ¼ c canola oil
- 1 Tbsp minced onion
- 1 ½ Tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds

Directions:

Beat sugar, salt, dry mustard and wine vinegar in medium bowl with wire whisk until blended.

Add oils and onion. Mix until well blended. Add mayo and poppy seed, mix well. Refrigerate until ready to serve
