¾ c. (1½ sticks) soft butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
¼ c. molasses
2¼ c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. ground cloves
¼ tsp. salt
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together butter, brown sugar, egg and molasses until light.
2. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
3. Chill.
4. Roll in 1-inch balls and dip in granulated sugar.
5. Place on greased cookie sheet.
6. Bake in 375ºoven, 8-10 minutes.
