Lemon Asparagus Pasta Recipe

2 chicken breasts, diced
Lemon pepper
1 # fresh asparagus, cut on bias into 2 inch lengths
3 cups heavy cream
1 # lemon pasta
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tbls fresh chopped basil or 1 tsp dried
1/2 cup feshly grated parmesan cheese

Season cut up chicken with lemon pepper and a little lemon juice

Brown chicken in butter or olive oil and set aside

In medium sauce pan add two cups of water, bring to boil and add asparagus. Cook for 2 min. Drain and set aside

In large sauce pan add cream and cook over low heat until half its original volume and thickned lightly, approx 10 min, cover pan with wax paper and set aside

Into large pot place water and bring to a fast boil. Add pasta and cook for 2 min, drain and return to pot.

Add half the cream along with salt and pepper. Mix with two wooden forks, then add asparagus, remaining cream, basil, and cheese, and chicken
