1 9" Double Crust Pie Pastry
½ Cup Unsalted Butter
3 Tablespoons Flour
¼ Cup Apple Juice
½ Cup White Sugar
½ Cup Brown Sugar
8 Honey Crisp apples, peeled, cored and sliced

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425º F.
2. Melt butter in small saucepan. Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add sugars and apple juice to saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and let simmer.
3. Place bottom crust in pie pan. Fill with apples and mound slightly. Cut remaining crust into lattice and weave on top of apples.
4. Gently pour hot liquid over top crust very slowly so it does not run off.
5. Bake for 15 minutes at 425º F. Reduce temperature to 350º F. Continue baking for an additional 45 minutes or until apples are soft.
6. Cool before slicing. Serve with a scoop of Breyers Vanilla Bean ice cream for maximum enjoyment.
