2 yeast cakes
3 ½ c. warm water
3 T. honey
½ tsp. salt
1 egg
⅓ c. oil
6-7 c. whole wheat flour

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl dissolve honey in one cup warm water. Add yeast and let active three minutes. Add remaining water. Add 4 cups whole wheat flour, beat thoroughly for five minutes.

In a separate bowl, beat egg and oil together and add to flour mixture. Blend in remaining flour until dough is stiff and elastic.

Turn into floured board and knead until smooth. Put in bowl, place in warm spot and let rise until double in size. Knead again and form into two loaves. Place in oiled pans. Let rise three quarters of the way up side of the pan. Brush loaf tops with water before baking.

Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
