Ingredients: 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda ½ tsp. baking powder ½ tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 2 c. buttermilk 4 egg yolk 2 tbsp. real vanilla extract 3 tbsp. oil 4 egg white (whipped until stiff peaks)

Directions: |
Directions:Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Add buttermilk, egg yolks, and oil.
Fold in whipped egg whites.
Drop into hot waffle maker. Serve with your choice of toppings. |

Ingredients: 2 pt. heavy whipping cream 2 tbsp. ground cinnamon 1 tbsp. real vanilla extract granulated sugar

Directions: |
Directions:Combine the heavy whipping cream, cinnamon, and vanilla extract and begin whipping. Add sugar to taste. We generally like it to lean more to the creamy rich taste than an overly sweet taste but everyone is different. Whip it until it forms medium firm peaks. If you go too long, they begin to feel like they are turning to butter. |

Notes: I originally found this out of a small "Mormon" cookbook and have evolved the recipe over the years. It is always a big hit with fresh fruit and big groups. Everyone loves them. They have a slightly more elegant, less cake-y texture to them. Amazing! We often serve them with the fresh fruit of the season such as peaches or strawberries.
