"Plain fresh bread, its crust shatteringly crisp. Sweet cold butter. There is magic in the way they come together in your mouth to make a single perfect bite."--Ruth Reichl

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 16 oz loaf frozen bread dough (or one roll refrigerated pizza crust)
1 8 oz. jar pizza sauce (divided)
8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
1 6 oz. package sliced pepperoni
1 can sliced olives
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning

*Any additional pizza toppings you'd like to add.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Let the dough thaw for approx one hour ( if you're using the refrigerated pizza crust you can skip this step) Roll out dough with rolling pin so that it is 1/4 inch thin. Spread about 1/2 c. sauce over the bread. Place mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices over the sauce. Then add any other toppings you like. Carefully roll up (you'll want to roll it so it's long and thin rather than short and thick) and place on a baking sheet. If you use a bread loaf, you may have to cut it in half to fit it on the baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg, then top with grated parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn. Let cool for 5 minutes then cut into slices. Dip in remaining pizza or preferred dipping sauce.
