Green or dry dill
garlic cloves
crushed red pepper (optional)
fresh green beans (8 lbs makes approx. 15 pints)
Salt
Vinegar
Water

Pickling Brine
4 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. plain salt
12 c. boiling water
*Bring to broil (brine is then ready to pour into jars)

Directions:
Directions:
Place a layer of dill (3-4 weeds) in bottom fo a pint wide mouth jar. Add 1 glove garlic into jar and 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes. Pack beans tightly into jar. Pour hot pickling brine over beans leaving 1/4 inch head space at top of jar.

Process in cold pack canner for 10 minutes after boiling.
