¾ -1 in. thick round steak
2 T. margarine
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 T. steak sauce or Worcestershire
¼ c. sliced mushrooms
¼ c. diced green pepper
1 can tomatoes, chopped
1 T. cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
1. Use margarine to butter a piece of foil large enough to wrap the steak.
2. Place steak on foil.
3. Then place in a large baking dish.
4. Sprinkle with onion soup mix, mushrooms and green peppers.
5. Open tomatoes, drain then add steak sauce and cornstarch to the juice.
6. Put tomatoes on steak and pour juice over it.
7. Bake at 375° for 2 hours.

Chris McNiece - I used this recipe a lot early on in my marriage. However, I used a whole green pepper, sliced instead of diced, a full package of sliced mushrooms, and usually a whole sliced onion too.
