Dough:
1 ½ c. lukewarm water
1 pkg. yeast
¾ c. oil
1 egg
6 T. sugar
1 T. salt
Flour



Crumb Topping:
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
¼ c. butter, more or less

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix yeast and lukewarm water together.
2. To the yeast and water add oil, egg, sugar, and salt.
3. When mixed together, add enough flour to make stiff dough.
4. Knead dough and let rise.
5. Punch dough down and let rise again.
6. The fruit topping for the Kuchen can be of any fruit of your choice. Fruit should be thickened slightly, or if you use fresh fruit, mix a small amount of flour with the sugar you use to sweeten your fruit.
7. Use a crumb topping over the fruit.
8. Bake 20-25 minutes.
