1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 can crushed pinepapple (26 oz.)(drained well)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Stir vanilla into pineapple, set aside. Cream shortening, sugars and eggs until well blended. Add pineapple and stir. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder, Stir slowly into wet mixture. Mix thoroughly. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake 350º for 12-15 minutes
