Ingredients:  
1 can green beans
1 can wax beans
1 can red kidney beans (rinsed)
1 small can Lima beans
I onion (chopped)
I green pepper (chopped)
¾ c. sugar
¾ c. vinegar
⅓ c. vegetable oil
Dash of pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1. Drain all beans.
2. Mix beans with onion and green pepper.
3. Heat sugar and vinegar until sugar is dissolved.
4. Add oil to sugar and vinegar.
5. Pour over bean mixture and let stand to marinate.
6. Serve at room temperature or chill.

This salad was Grandma Rohleder’s regular contribution to family pot luck dinners. She always brought it in a glass quart jar.
