1 cup chocolate chips
2 cups pecans
3/4 cup melted butter
1 -14oz bag of carmels
1 1/3 cup water
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs
1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Prepare cake mix as directed. Divide batter in half

Pour one half into a 13 x 9 pan. Bake for 15 minutes
Remove from oven & let cool

In a double boiler, add carmels, milk, water, & butter. Stir until melted

Pour melted mix over cooling cake

Sprinkle 1 cup of pecans & chocolate chips on top

Pour remaining batter on top & bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Pour remaining carmel over baked cake & sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of pecans
