1 - 8oz pkg of cream cheese (softened)
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
3 TB milk
2 TB butter, softened
1 TB cornstarch
1/2 tsp vanilla

4 - 1 oz unsweetened chocolate squares

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bakinf soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/3 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
Fudge frosting: 2-1oz unsweet choc squares
1/4 cup butter
3 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350º
grease & flour a 9 x 13 baking pan

Combine first 3 ingredients into a medium bowl & beat at high speed with electric mixer until smooth.Gradually add 3 TB milk & next 3 ingredients, beating well then set aside

Place 4 choc sq in top of double boiler over boiling water. Reduce heat to low & cook until choc melts, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat & let cool

Cream 1/2 cup butter, gradually add 2 cups sugar, beating well at medium speed. Add 2 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine next 4 ingredients & stir well then add to creamed mixture alternating with1 1/3 cup milk beginning & ending with dry mixture .Mix well after each addition. Stir in melted chocolate & 1 tsy vanilla

Spread half of chocolate batter into prepared pan. Spoon cheese mixture over chocolate batter, then spread rest of chocolate batter evenly on top

Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until wooden pick come out clean in center when inserted

Make frosting by combining chocolate & butter in top of double boiler over boiling water. Reduce heat to low & stir until thoroughly melted, then set aside & let cool. With electric mixer on medium speed add sugar & milk & mix until smooth. Stir in vanilla, then wait until cake is cool enough to spread on top.

Let cool completely before spreading frosting on top
