1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup melted Crisco shortening or 1 cup margarine
1 tsp. salt
5 cups flour sifted
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts
3 eggs well beaten
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening with sugar and eggs slowly mixing together, add nuts to dry ingredients, shape into long rolls wrap in wax paper and refrig. overnight on cookie sheet. (freezes well) slice thin.
Bake @ 350º till just set. (keeps in refrig. for weeks.)
