1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 egg - slightly beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp vanilla

Garnish:
Whipped cream
zest of orange
cocoa

Prepare ramekins:
Butter completely and dust with sugar

In a 2 quart saucepan, stir together milk and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat until just warm. In a small bowl stir together sugar, 3 tbsp cocoa and cornstarch. Gradually add to milk mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until mixture just starts to thicken. Pour into prepared ramekins. Cool 30 minutes. Cover, refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Garnish with Whipped cream, orange zest and cocoa
