2¾ cups water
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Place the 2¾ cups water in 2 quart pan sprayed with pam, bring to boil. In separate bowl mix cornmeal, salt and cold water. Add too boiling water. Turn heat to low temperature, stirring frequently for 10-15 minutes until thick. Pour into loaf pan, cover and refrigerate over night. When ready to fry, slice ¼ inch thick and fry until fairly crisp and golden brown. We like it with sorghum. Good with maple syrup also.
