3 cups sifted flour
2 tsp ginger
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 cup margarine or butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark corn syrup

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Sift together flour, ginger, cinnamon & cloves & set aside

In large bowl, Mix in butter & sugar

Stir in corn syrup

Mix in flour mixture

Roll out mixture to 1/8 inch thick on floured surface

Cut into desired shapes & place on cookie sheet

Bake 10 minutes
Makes 8 dozen 2 inch cookies
