1 ½ c. pecans chopped
½ c. melted butter
2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. apples shredded (4 apples)
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven 350º
Toast pecans in single layer for 5 to 7 minutes , stirring halfway through.
Blend eggs, butter, sugar, and vanilla.
Combine all dry ingredients, then add to egg mixture.
Stir in 1 cup pecans and apples.
Bake in 9" by 13" pan for 35 to 45 minutes.

Cool cake frost with Browned-Butter frosting top with pecans.
